Jun 14, 2022
In part one of this two-part blog series, we went over some basics on how to be as productive as possible with your iPad. These are highly versatile, efficient devices that can carry out a number of different tasks, and knowing some basics on how to optimize them will help you really maximize their value. At Bad Apple, we're here to not only provide a wide range of iPad repairs and other device repairs, but also to offer our clients tips on how to best use these items. What are some of the other tips we can offer iPad owners on how to get the most out of their devices from a productivity standpoint? Here are a few other suggestions.
Utilize Cloud Storage
A tip that's applicable to both iPads and several other types of devices is to make use of cloud storage options. Cloud storage can help you declutter your device while still having quick and easy access to the files you need. Additionally, it can help free up some much-needed space on your device. There are a number of different cloud storage services available, so do some research and find the one that best suits your needs. Once you have an account set up, you can begin uploading files to the cloud and clearing them off of your device.
Use a Password Manager
If you find yourself forgetting passwords often or using the same password for multiple accounts, a password manager can be a lifesaver. This is a type of app that helps you store and organize your passwords in a secure way. That way, you only have to remember one master password to gain access to all of your other accounts.
Password managers can be extremely helpful for improving productivity on your iPad (or any other device) by streamlining the login process. Instead of having to remember multiple passwords or wasting time resetting them, you can just enter in your master password and be on your way.
Utilize the Files Management App
iPads all come with the Files app, which can be a great tool for managing and organizing your files. If you have a lot of different files on your device, this app can help you keep track of them and make sure they're all in the right place.
The Files app also allows you to access files from other devices or locations, such as iCloud Drive, Google Drive, Dropbox, and more. So if you're working on a project that requires access to files from multiple devices, the Files app can be a real lifesaver.
