Did you know you can create slideshows of your favorite memories straight from your iPhone? If you have an iPhone and are running iOS 10+ (click here for how to check what iOS you have), your phone has an excellent photo feature called Memories. This feature is used to create slideshows of your photos and videos; the slideshows are auto-created based on the time and place you take a group of pictures. You can set accompanying music and edit the speed of the transitions, as well as change the length of video clips included in the slideshows. If you open your photos and go to the memories tab [PHOTO], you'll see the first few memories have been auto-generated for you. There will likely be one summing up all the photos you’ve taken in the last year, last week, and probably a few more using photos that were all taken at the same location, such as a vacation or sports event. Open your memories and click ‘play’ on one of them to check it out!

Make Your Own: How To Create Family Memories

You can also create memories with photos and videos you choose. Step 1: Compile the photos and videos of your choice into an album Step 2: At the top of the album will have a set of dates, click that! It will open up the option to play the album as a slideshow. Step 3: Don’t press play! Instead, scroll all the way to the bottom, and there will be an option to add the video to your memories tab. Click that! Step 4: From there you can go to the memories tab, open the new memory you created and edit it from there. Step 5: Play the video and click the toggle button at the bottom right and edit the photos included, the music, title, and length of the memory!

How To Save Memories As Videos To Share

On any memory, you can save it to share anywhere. Play any memory and click the share button on the bottom left and hit the save video button. It may take a moment to export to your photo album, but once it does, you can send the video to anyone at any time!
